Max established Fleurieu Guided Walks to share his passion for the important and diverse ecosystems of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
After completing honours in ecology at Adelaide University, Max moved to the southern Fleurieu Peninsula and began applying what he’d learnt. Keen to share his passion and knowledge about the local ecosystems, Max worked for Murray River Trails to learn the art of guiding. He then established Fleurieu Guided Walks to share his passion for the plants and animals of this region. Max continues to guide a few tours each year for Murray River Trails as a walks and safari guide.
Max and Bethany also volunteer as local wildlife carers and have helped to raise over 50 orphaned joey kangaroos, as well as helping a number of orphaned and injured possums and birds.

Our Values
Max is an ecologist first and a business owner second. Therefore, we want to leave this landscape in a better condition than we have found it. A percentage of our profits will be donated to bioR and other organisations actively working to restore and enhance the ecosystems of the Fleurieu Peninsula
